I'm Renea Jones-Hudson

Retired Army Veteran. Transformational Speaker. Doctoral Student. Woman of Faith.

I am a retired Army veteran with over 20 years of service. My life has been shaped by childhood trauma, emotional suppression, deep faith, and radical transformation. I served 21.5 years in the United States Army — first as an enlisted soldier for 13 years, then as a commissioned officer through Officer Candidate School.

After retiring in 2017, I experienced firsthand the identity shifts many veterans face when they remove the uniform and step into civilian life. That experience — messy, humbling, and real — led me to build something that could help other women walk through what I walked through.

I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Health and Wellness, researching trauma, identity loss, and leadership reintegration among female veterans. My work bridges lived military experience, psychological research, leadership development, and emerging technology.

I am the creator of the OWNIT™ Framework. I speak from the middle, not the mountaintop. I bring unmatched depth, wisdom, and realness to every stage and space I enter.

I am a woman of faith, a daughter who survived, a soldier who served, a mother who loves fiercely, and a healer who decided that everything she walked through was not meant to break her but to build her into exactly who she was created to be.

My Purpose

Why I do this work.

That is why my purpose is to help women uncover the one thing holding them back and empower them to show up whole, authentic, and unapologetic about doing what they love without reservations.

I walk women through the OWNIT journey. Owning their story and their voice, working their gifts with intention and purpose, navigating change with confidence instead of fear, igniting their impact by investing boldly in themselves, and thriving by taking bold action that aligns with who they truly are.

I will never stop being curious, never stop growing, and never stop becoming a better version of myself so that every woman I serve has a living example that healing is possible, purpose is real, and it is never too late to own your next chapter.
