It really was a blessing!

Attending the SERVE Female Veteran Empowerment Summit was an incredible experience from start to finish!

The event was packed with a plethora of relevant and insightful information.

Each session was meticulously planned, ensuring that attendees could gain a comprehensive understanding of the topics discussed.

The panels featured diverse, knowledgeable, and engaging speakers who provided valuable perspectives and sparked thought-provoking discussions. What truly stood out was the presentation's level of detail and depth, which made the content extremely informative and actionable. Networking opportunities were abundant, allowing for meaningful connections with industry leaders and peers. Overall, the SERVE Summit exceeded my expectations and left me feeling inspired, well-informed, and eager to apply what I learned.

I highly recommend this event to anyone looking to expand their knowledge and network within the industry!

I had the pleasure of attending Renea Jones-Hudson’s “Serve Summit – There is Power in Transition” on August 31, 2024.

The Summit was amazing, informative, enlightening, and outright good!  This was one of those summits where you had to be in the room to understand the takeaways.  I was extremely engaged from the beginning to the end of the Summit.

I walked away thinking I wanted to have an impact in my field the way the speakers from this summit did. I thought I was going to a summit to learn about veteran women's experiences transitioning from military life.  I learned that but gained so much more.

There were five amazing speakers at this summit and of course Renea Jones Hudson. They include the keynote speaker Anisa Palmer (CEO of I Will Survive, INC), Panelist Sandra Brownlee (CEO, DSP Waypoint), Dr. Elyssa Green (Author of Bold, Bald, Beauty), Afya Evans (The Afya Spot), and Patricia Baisden (CEO, Southern Crescent Veteran Services).

As each speaker shared their journey from deciding to join the military, to bootcamp, and their experiences in the military and transitioning out, there were two common threads determination and service.  All the speakers took what they learned in the military to continue to serve others post-military.  I gained great respect for each speaker as I learned their story and what they decided to do with their experiences.  Renea, the creator, facilitator, and visionary for this summit, supports women veterans on the journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

Anisa Palmer supports women with breast cancer.  Sandra Brownlee helps veterans learn of their benefits and discover their potential. Dr. Elyssa Green has the I Am Style agency and helps women suffering from alopecia embrace their baldness.  Afya helps women with their image and style.  Finally, Patricia Baisden is the chief executive officer of the Southern Crescent Veterans Services. She has a non-profit that helps homeless veterans get homes.

This was an exceptional summit, that left attendees with a wealth of knowledge and information that can use to help themselves or other veterans transitioning from military life.  ~ Dr. Angela ~
